Film Center and Landmark's
Inwood Theater and Magnolia
Pictures - Dallas' three theaters for independent films,
art flicks, gay cinema, and NC-17-rated releases. The Angelika is
at 5321 East Mockingbird Lane in Mockingbird Station and
has discount-pass books available. Magnolia Pictures is
at 3699 McKinney Avenue in the West Village Shopping Complex.
The Inwood is on 5458 West Lovers Lane, one-half
block east of Inwood Road. |

Flags Over Texas - Huge amusement park in Arlington,
Texas (20 minutes west of Dallas) with terrific roller
coasters, tons of other rides, musical shows, and tacky
knickknacks. They also own a water park next door called Hurricane
Harbor. |
