Cafe Brazil - Chain of nine cool Dallas-area coffeehouses, with terrific menu of meals and desserts, plus live entertainment some nights. Most locations open 'til midnight, but the ones at 6420 North Central Expressway and 3847 Cedar Springs Road are 24-hours all week long.
Marilyn Manson
The Church - Neo-Gothic dance club, located at 2424 Swiss Avenue. Open Thursday/Sunday from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Cover charge. Minimum age: 18 on Thursday, 17 on Sunday.
Pills
DanceSafe - Some of y'all prefer a little chemical enhancement when you go out dancing or clubbing. DanceSafe's site helps ravers and others learn how to reduce their risks when taking, what to expect when you take them, how to help people who are having a "bad trip," and how to tell when what you're using is cut or made with bad stuff.

Lizard Lounge - Selected as 2006 Best Dance Club by the Dallas Observer. Electronic music. Open Friday/Saturday, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Cover charge. Located at 2424 Swiss Avenue. Minimum age: 18.
Mink
Minc - Roomy bar in the Fair Park area, with nice patio outside where you can chat. Mixed gay and straight crowd. Open Tuesday-Sunday from 7:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. No cover, except Thursdays after 11 p.m. or during special events. Located at 813 Exposition Avenue. Minimum age: 21. Picked as Best Alternative Bar by Dallas Observer in 2005.
